So in the Christmas
Break we flew from Singapore to Tokyo which took 6 hours and then from Tokyo to
Sapporo which took 1 and a 1/2 hours. Then we took a 2 hours and 30 mis bus
ride to Nisseko.
on the day we reached
the first day in Japan we reached and chilled and did nothing.
On the same day we went
to the shop to get our Skis and Ski boots. On the second day we went for
Ski school we learnt to put on our Ski's we learnt how to go on a chairlift. We
learnt that we had to go with someone on the chairlift. We got some really good
lunch and good hot chocolate.
We came after lunch for
skiing again. We were on Level 1 after day 1. It was freezing cold. The
family run was becoming more fun. The scenery was awesome the volcano was there
and was smelling like rotten eggs and rotten water mixed together. Our
instructor was Gemma. Ski school was 6 hours.
When we came home we
were literally tired. And Ready for the next day which would hopefully be even
more fun.
On the third day we woke
up for Ski school and we learnt how to load, ride and unload the Ace
Family Pair Lift we familiarised where to meet. After unloading the Ace Family
Pair Lift.
We also bounced up and
down while skiing we also learnt how to make slight direction changes on Family
Run. We learnt how to get up by ourselves when we fall down. We learnt how to
ski a safe distance from our friends. We also learnt the Kid Responisibility
Code. Our final test was to make snowplough turns on family run with speed
control.
On the fourth day we
were on level 3 so In Level 3 we learnt how to control our speed or how fast or
how slow we Ski. We could balance on our outside ski while turning. We
learnt how to do a J-turn. Th scenery was amazing houses covered with snow and
other awesome stuff. I could get up. We learnt how to
sidestep/herringbone in like rough and deep snow. We learnt or went the space
between you and your friend. Our food was so good we ate noodles or
something. We also watched a Movie in the Kids Club. We learnt how to
stop below our group. We were introduced to skating on like a flat
terrain. We ate some okay Japanese food. We learned how to do stem
christie turns on Family Run and we skiied a few times in the Kogen area.
On the fifth day
and sixth day combined half off the level 4 stuff for each day. we learnt
some more stuff. we learnt how to do stem christies on Kogen we learnt
how to traverse across an easy slope. We learnt how to edge a ski to
create a round turn shape.
We also learnt how to
recognise and follow signs on the mountain. We learnt I think how to
Parallel stop (hockey stop) in both directions and we were introduced to the
Kogen half pipe or the tunnel. And we could make parallel turns on Kogen. On
the seventh day we went to Ottaru to this Japanese house and
shopped for music boxes etc... The sunsets were amazing and so
bright. on the 8th day we went skiing with our dad The ski
instructors were all Australian.
On the 9th day we went
walking around Nisseko went to a coffee shop played battleships and chilled
before taking a walk and eating lunch with awesome entertainment ManUtd vs Hull
City and Man City vs Liverpool. The food was awesome. We then went to the bus
and chilled for a few more hours and Aaron made a snowman. Then we later went
to the airport. We took a flight to Tokyo which was 2 hours there was a 2hour
and 20 minutes stop over at Tokyo. Then we took a flight to Singapore which was
6 hours and 50 mins to singapore. We were scheduled to reach at 5:50AM but
instead reached at 6:00AM we went to the baggage claim. Went home I checked the
NBA stuff for 1 hour+ then went to sleep for 4 hours. Ate breakfast. Slept
again. Ate lunch and slept for 2 more hours. We went at 9:00 or later to
Revathi Aunty's house for New Year's party. We left at 10:30 went to Raghav's
house for another New Year's party till 1:25 AM came home and slept the whole
night waiting for the first REAL day of January.
Later I will be
adding some awesome pictures of what we saw the food we ate. A snowman
pictures of our family and the other families that came with us on the trip and
videos of us skiing etc...

The food was amazing there was Japanese food which was kind of good. There was really good burgers,pizza,you name it! The sashimi tasted really bad. We ate Yakitori,edimame beans,Sashimi with rice,Sushi,Fries,Hamburgers,Wetsern and awesome Indian food which was so yummy. The food was so good. There was Wasabi but me and Aaron called it Pistachio Ice Cream. Niseko means to the japanese people a Mountain range or Municipal Area there are 4,667 people in the town 28.31 persons per km². There also is an international school called the Hokkaido International School Niseko. Abucha The food was great. Bu then when a new customer came they would shout Arigato Gozai mas. We hanged our jackets and ate our delicious Japanese food. We ate with chopsticks. I did not ouch the Sashimi or Wasabi (Pistachio Ice Cream) That is what me and my brother called it. We ate some more Japanese food. It was good. But we decided to have a break. We ate some Radish, it was great! The break proved costly because the food was so good. We had Maggi Hot cups. It was so hot but tasted so good. There was some good beef burger's in Green Cafe. The coke was awesome. I got in a good conversation with an australian lady who talked a lot about Ski places.
